JK Bank Chairman appreciates initiative

Srinagar, July 21: Musky Software Solutions (MSS), a software solutions and services company organized a charity run from Nehru Park to Nishat.

According to a statement issued by the service provider, the event was organized to raise awareness about the plight of orphans in Valley by a corporate house to benefit a charitable organization (Child Nurture and Relief) CHINAR.

For adults, the charity run started from Nehru Park at 7 AM and ended near Nishat Garden whereas kids raced was held on age group. The kids up to eight years ran up to Hotel Grand Palace whereas 9-13 year age group ran up to Cheshmashahi.
 
Chairman J&K Bank Dr Haseeb Drabu was the chief guest while as SSP City Syed Ahfad-ul-Mujtaba, President Federation Chamber of Industries Kashmir (FCIK) Shakeel Qalander, vice-president J&K Bank Khursheed Pandit, Principal CASET College Vishen Vinod, President CHINAR Nazir Ahmed Qureishi were also present on the occasion.

Whiles speaking on the occasion, Dr Drabu congratulated Musky Software Solutions for the initiative. He said, “This sort of initiative is something where the solution lies. Normally we tend to look at government to help us, but this is first time a corporate house has organized a small but a very significant event. It is very important for all of us to realize that these smaller but focused and dedicated events will go a long way in raising the awareness among people. I hope that while we are here, there is some kind of a resolve that participants and volunteers be involved with the kind of work Musky and Chinar are doing.”

SSP City said, such events should be organized frequently.

Amin Bhat Musky Software Solutions said that one of the core tenets of Musky is to contribute towards the local communities wherever its members work and live. He said that Musky will continue its efforts not only to provide unparalleled growth opportunities to local youth but will also mobilize youth and other citizens to raise awareness about issues facing the society. 

He added “Musky Software Solutions believes that it has an important responsibility to sponsor such events in the community to raise awareness and foster social consciousness among our youth and help them grow into responsible and dedicated community leaders.”

Musky COO Fayaz Bhat said that CHINAR is doing a great service to the community by focusing on the overall development as well as psychological rehabilitation of these less-fortunate children. He thanked all the participants, volunteers and other business who supported this event to make it a grand success. He said that Musky received overwhelming support from many business houses to co-sponsor this event.
